The part(s) of the body that are used a lot will often run the highest risk of common sports injuries for that sport. Selected the type of training that you want and assess the particular parts of the body that will be used.
Know Your Sport
A widely known sports injuries for distance runners would include lower joints pains - the knees, ankles, and phalanges, whereas, a recognized sports injuries for weight lifters would include the back, shoulder, or chest muscles. NOTE: Any physical activities can cause strain or sprain when done incorrectly or too often The following list does not include all sports injuries but these are some common sports injuries based on the anatomy: Head - Football, Rugby, Soccer, Boxing Neck and Shoulders - Wrestling, Weight lifting, Rock Climbing, Repelling
Back - All sports (usually due to trauma or bad body alignment while doing physical activities)
